GenderTime represented at the Gender, Work and Organization Conference in Keele/UK

The 8th Biennial International Interdisciplinary Conference on Gender, Work and Organization was held on 24th-26th June 2014 at Keele University, Staffordshire, UK. The GenderTime project was represented at the conference by Sarah Barnard from Loughborough University (UK) and Susanne Achterberg and Jennifer Dahmen from the University of Wuppertal (Germany).

They presented two papers in the stream entitled “Reframing gender (in)equality in (post)modern times”. Sarah presented a paper based on collaboration between the LoU and IFZ team on ‘Research as a mechanism for change: doing gender action research in higher education organizations’. The paper presented by Susanne Achterberg and Jennifer Dahmen dealt with the “Perception and Acceptance of Gender Equality Policies” highlighted by a case study of a German University.
