  • 2015, June 15-17: Organisation of the GenderTime meeting in Graz by Magdalena Wicher, Thomas Berger, Anita Thaler, Birgit Hofstätter, Jürgen Suschek-Berger, including the Transfer Agent Workshop.

  • 2015, February: Jennifer Dahmen and Susanne Achterberg organized an Workshop on the „Potential of EC-projects for gender equality policy and gender research“, at 13th Working Meeting of the Conference of Institutions for Women’s and Gender Studies in the German speaking Area (KEG), Bielefeld, Germany, 12.-13.2.2015. (together with Sabine Bohne, EGERA proejct)

  • 2015, May 11-12: Organisation of 14th STS Conference Graz 2015: “Critical Issues in Science, Technology and Society Studies” May 11-12 , 2015, Graz, Austria.

  • 2015, March 13: Organisation of Networking event at University of Graz with Dr. Heather Laube, USA, and a talk given from Prof. Sara Louise Muhr about “Military, Metaphors and Masculinity: The Construction of Gendered Practice in Leadership Studies”.

  • Sarah Barnard joint-Chair Loughborough University’s Research Staff Association (January 2013-March 2015) Committee Member (April 2015-present). The association has run many events over the course of the project.
  •  2015, March 11. Organisation of the 1st “Interdisciplinary Gender and master day”, a common theme around gender issues at Upec within the International Women Day. (Journée interdisciplinaire Genre et Master).  UEPC, France. See Upec Poster – documents n° 9 attached
  • 2015, January 16. Organisation and participation in Organisation of the « 5th Gender at Noon» (Midi du genre) at Upec around “Gender at the very heart of migration” (Le genre au Coeur des migrations)

  • 2015, December 11. Organisation of the « 6th Gender at Noon» (Midi du genre) at Upec on gender and girls’ education in France since the eighteenth century. Promotion of a book co-directed by a doctoral student girl at Upec and debate on it, combined with an exhibition of former educational books in relation with the Upec libraries’ network.   • 2015, November 17- 2016 January 15. Participation in organising several events at Upec around an exhibition “Plural Infinities” (Infinités plurielles) on 140 pictures and paths illustrating women scientists in French academia”, roundtable discussion on equal job opportunities for men and women in science, showing of film, theatre, exhibition of former educational books, conference-debate related to the 6th Gender Midday by the GenderTime team.   • 2015, November. Participation in the dissemination of the guide on the Prevention and treatment of sexual harassment in higher education and research related to the International day against violence against women November 25).

  • 2015, April, 29: Anita Thaler and Magdalena: together with other researchers in the field of gender/STEM founding a section on “Gender and technology” within the Gender Studies Association Austria.
  • 2015, June 30-31: Anita Thaler invited from the COST genderSTE network to a meeting with the title „Engendering STEM Disciplines”, giving a talk about „Careers in engineering and technology research in Europe: Quo vadis gender equality?“, Lisboa, Portugal.
  • Invited talk by Jennifer Dahmen on „Good image? Bad image? – A gender perspective on young people’s perception on STEM“ at the Working Group 1 Meeting - COST Targeted Network TA1201 “Engendering STEM Disciplines.

  • 2015, March: Meeting with Victoria Budson Executive Director of the Women and Public Policy Program (WAPPP) at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, USA, 5.3.2015. (together with Helen Peterson)

  • 2015, January: GenderTime meets EGERA – part 2, this time Sabine Bohne from the EGERA project met GenderTime members Susanne Achterberg, Christel Hornstein (Transfer Agent) and Jennifer Dahmen at the University of Wuppertal. The meeting was set up to strengthen the national cooperation between the institutions and sister projects. (19.1.2015)

  • 2015, February 11. Participation in EGERA International symposium “Gender bias in governance and research assessment” in Europe, within or beyond EGERA project. (Les biais de genre dans la gouvernance et l’évaluation de la recherche). Sciences Po. Paris, France.

  • 2016, March 10. Participation in the CNRS conference on the results of “15 years of actions in favour of gender equality at work at the CNRS”. Paris, France.

  • 2015, March 12. Participation in INTEGER conference “ Acting together in the promotion of equality at work: Results and perspective of the CNRS’ action plan” (Agir ensemble pour l’égalité professionnelle : Bilan et perspectives du plan d’actions du CNRS). Paris, France.

  • 2015, March 25-27. Participation in the international TRIGGER conference “Women in academia” (Les Femmes dans le monde académique). University of Paris-Descartes, Paris.

  • 2015, April 8-9. Participation in organising the “Gender, didactic and training study days” at Upec in collaboration with the gender network advisors on how to introduce gender lifelong training in French universities (Genre, didactique et formation). Aim: to make a state of art about influence of gender issues on school curricula, knowledge and skills taught in schools. UPEC, France.
